As a Geotechnical Engineer at Arthe, you’ll play a leading role in our infrastructure, tunneling, and hydraulic engineering projects, where we deliver advanced designs and high-quality technical advice. From start to finish, your expertise will contribute to solving the complex geotechnical challenges of tomorrow. Here’s a selection of your key responsibilities:

• Planning and overseeing soil investigations, followed by geotechnical data analysis to assess ground conditions.

• Performing geotechnical calculations for embankments (settlement, stability), foundations (bearing capacity, influence), and underground structures.

• Providing technical advice throughout the project to ensure safety and quality (including Site Engineering).

• Preparing geotechnical reports and project documentation, with clear recommendations and substantiation for our clients.

• Collaborating in a multidisciplinary team, taking into account all interfaces in large-scale (infrastructure) projects.

You’re a good fit if you:

• Have a passion for solving geotechnical challenges with a hands-on, practical approach. In addition, you:

  • Have completed a degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related field.

  • Preferably have completed the CGF1 course (advanced training in Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering).

  • Have at least 5 years of geotechnical experience, either in the Netherlands or abroad.

  • Are familiar with geotechnical design software such as Deltares’ D-Series and PLAXIS (experience with DIANA is a plus).

  • Above all, are eager to work in a dynamic and multicultural team environment.
