Construction pits and auxiliary structures
Almost equally important as the final design are the auxiliary structures that are needed to make the construction in the first place. When designed well they ensure an efficient, rapid and above all safe construction process.
For every kind of civil or geotechnical construction we design, we also provide the temporary works as needed:
- Building pits, with sheet piling or diaphragm walls, cutter soil mix walls. These walls may be temporary or may not be incorporated in the permanent construction. Building pits with underwaterconcrete with or without piles, with grout struts or tie-back anchors, or steel struts.
- All auxiliary structures to launch or receive a TBM: pushframe, cradle, concrete bell, grout block, embankment, etc.
- Soil freezing
